I am very excited to be preparing for my Asian tour of Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong in May; it’s full steam ahead in the Deltawaves office for the next four weeks.

We begin April with a Mayan portal day on the 1st, which sets the tone for the rest of the month, high energy and loads of space for introspection and AHA moments! By the way did you know that AHA was a pre-dynastic King of Egypt!

On April 2 at 7.55pm Pluto begins it’s reverse or retrograde movement in Capricorn. Whenever Pluto is featured in a month expect there to be ample opportunity to be shown where your hidden (read dark inner side) strengths lay. This will be a long gestation period lasting until September 2008 and changing signs in between to Sagittarius, the free spirit and traveller. Now didn’t I say 2008 was the year to Follow Your Fears! We are fully supported in doing this, so it’s now or never people!

We will all be given opportunities to recognise and accept the parts of us that we judge to be negative or bad, and see them for what they really are. The jewels in our crown if we are ever to become whole, fully realised human beings. So what if you once butted out cigarettes on someone’s brand new Holden Commodore paintwork. Ouch! You’ve learned from it and faced the repercussions, so embrace it as an act of teenage rebellion, which you created purely to bring balance into your life. Gee I’d forgotten all about that until now, see what Pluto does :>

There is a New Moon in Aries on Saturday April 6 at 1.25pm bringing passion and fire into the fore of all our thinking and actions out in the world. The beginning of the astrological year, new beginnings abound. So focus, on your intent. You will be fully supported in manifesting at this new moon. The same evening that daylight savings ends for us in South Australia, this is a perfect day for going within to plant the seeds of passion to grow and burn throughout the coming winter months.

The Sun changes signs and enters Taurus on Sunday April 20 as we take a bit of a breather from the high paced, high energy of Aries and begin to delve into the physical, sensational world of Taurus. Expect body indulgences and good food to be the order of the day. Along with breaking those stubborn streaks and allowing change to flow through you and actually become YOU!

The same day (April 20) we have a Full Moon in Scorpio at 7.55pm, so a double dose of Pluto energy bursting at the seams for us all.

When I ask in to my own inner guidance I receive the strong message that April will “fly by” for us all. We won’t probably appreciate how much we have achieved until the month has finished and we begin to reap the rewards of our hard work come June and July.

Q. “Can you please give me any advice on how I can cope with being married to a man who doesn’t want to know anything about spirituality and says it’s all hocus pocus? I really believe in all this, but am getting to the point where we are constantly at loggerheads”. Alexandra, Singapore

A. This issue amongst couples who have been together for a while is becoming more and more the norm as one partner wakes up and the other chooses not to or fights against it. The overriding factor here is the ability to accept change as a natural part of life. So many of us get trapped in comfortable patterns that when one partner decides there is more to life than the nine to five grind it feels physically, emotionally and mentally uncomfortable for the other to begin to also change their outlook on life. So what can YOU begin to do? Speak about what is going on with you as much as possible. Explain your motives behind wanting change in life and encourage your partner to do the same. Seek out like-minded friends who’s company will alleviate the pressure of feeling like you are alone in your beliefs. Join meditation groups, or online spiritual forums or visit Holistic Healing Centres, to attend workshops, purchase books and generally feed your soul. This will give you the strength of your convictions, which will be needed as you work at gently nudging your partner awake also. Give this some time to see if your partner begins to find interest in the positive changes developing in you at which point you may suggest a book for him to read or suggest you listen to some beautiful music and meditate or visualise together. If after all your efforts the relationship is becoming more and more tense perhaps it is time to consider some time and space from one another to reconsider that perhaps your life directions are changing course. Some of the most positive forward moving energy has occurred in people’s lives when they have ended partnerships and gone out on their own to forge the life of their dreams.
