ISSUE 12 - February 2008

Welcome to February and incredible waves of movement occurring for us all. My January was memorable. I de-toxed and then got so busy with new structures in my life. How did you go? You may or may not have been ready for the independence and strength of the “one” year but like it or not it is here and in full swing. In February you get to taste more of its punch. By the end of 2008 you won't know yourself compared to the beginning. Trust me!

In February I am giving two public talks on Adelaide:Atlantis The Crystal City. The website will be officially launched in February but here is a preview www.thecrystalcity.net

I am also appearing on the global internet radio station (based in Seattle, USA) Contact Talk Radio to discuss what amazing Sound Healers our beloved cats are. And I'm so enthused about holding the only Adelaide screening of 'Zeitgeist - The Movie' to be shown on March 15 at Reedbeds Community Centre. This is must see viewing if you want to know the truth behind the lies and deceptions which have been upon us since time immemorial. All the details are below in my “Off The Press” Section. Also, I invite you to discover 'Journals For The Modern Goddess'. A wonderful tool for empowerment and self knowledge.

I am also getting excited about speaking and teaching in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong in late April and May. Check out the 'COURSES' section of the E-zine for details.

February will be a month of consolidation and steady strides!

There will be a lot going on under the surface in February which will move up to the outer layers of us allowing a truly solid transformation to occur.

We begin with a New Moon in Aquarius at 1.14pm on Thursday February 7. This new moon is also a partial solar eclipse. See the NASA homepage for more. This is the new moon of eclectic and radical change. This moon also really suits the “one” energy of 2008, so use it to put your intentions out to the universe for a totally fearless you! Remember fears are no longer fears once you've conquered them.

The same day Chinese New Year takes place as we move into the Year of The Earth Rat. The rat is the first of the twelve animal signs of the Chinese zodiac so it marks the beginning of a new twelve year cycle. A time of renewal and new beginnings. The perfect and powerful accompaniment to the solar eclipse new moon.

On February 19 the sun enters the birthday month of Pisces as we enter the dreamy, intuitive world of the past and true going with the flow.

On this day Mercury also finally begins its forward movement. It has been in retrograde since January 29 and we have all had ample opportunity to go over our communication issues both personal and worldly. These times can often seem difficult but truly assist us in shedding that which no longer serves us.

The Full Moon occurs in Virgo on February 21 at 1.00pm and is also a total lunar eclipse.

February 2008 is also a Leap Year in the Gregorian calendar which means we get 29 days instead of 28. Interesting because the next one is in 2012 (end of the great Mayan cycle). In my opinion 2008 is a most powerful year in the clean up and lead up to the new age dawning in 2012!

These are days when there is an opening, a window, a portal in which cosmic energies flow strongly between dimensions. These are high power days when it will serve you to be aware of the opportunity to tap into these energies to download information and be supported in making major changes and shifts in your life.

Q.   Do you know anything about reaching the tectonic plates when in meditation or during healings? Shery, South Australia

A.   Excellent question Shery and thank you for asking it. Major earth movement occurs where one plate rubs up against another along the boundaries of the earth's major plate systems. This results in earthquakes and volcanic activity. I offer the following meditation to assist in healing the earth's tectonic plates.
Earth Movement Meditation
Stand with your bare feet firmly on the ground, shoulder width apart and arms slightly away from the body. Close your eyes and take a few conscious breaths into your belly and quickly release. Imagine there are strong veins connecting the bottom of your feet with the plate lines deep within the centre of the earth. You may sense your body slightly wobbles as you make the connection. Allow this to happen and keep focused on connecting your feet firmly with the earth beneath you. Sense the strength of the earth flooding though your entire system, stabilising and renewing your blood and bones. Now sense your energy also mingling down with the earth. Imagine that the plate systems of the world are tapping into your own energy and feeling the love you have for the earth. The earth's crust is so grateful for the exchange of love which it doesn't always feel from us humans. Ask any questions you have about what you can do to ensure the earth remains nurtured during the coming years of change for this planet. Allow a few moments to see what comes to you. When you are complete thank the ancient energy of the earth's core and slowly start to pull your own energy back up from the earth and up out the top of your head. It floats down all around you feeling tingly all over. Thank the earth for the connection and love just shared and yourself for the healing of our beloved terra firma.
