ISSUE 11 - January 2008

We're here and have made it through the challenging nine year of 2007! Can you feel the fresh energy and changes swept in already by 2008? This new nine year cycle brings with it new beginnings for everyone and is the universal cycle which will lead us into the huge year of 2012.

Over the past few weeks I have been concentrating on relaxing and letting my psychic downloads and spiritual muscles flourish and it's been awesome. I've come up with a mantra to lead myself through 2008 and it's a powerful one for everyone to also follow.

2008 is the year to "Follow Your Fears" for in confronting whatever you fear you elevate to another level of being and see that those fears were really a mirage which disappears when you reach out and touch it. In fact our fears hunt us down if we run yet when we embrace them they rescue us.

Let's make 2008 a year when we as individuals create the changes ourselves that we so easily point out others need to do. It really is a smokescreen to point out others flaws as we all have them. That is why we are here, to work on our individual challenges. I'll be putting in overtime on mine and will be right there in the mosh pit of life along with you all :>

Oh… and keep checking my Tip-Off page on the Deltawaves website weekly as is this is where I will post energetic changes throughout the months affecting us all.

We will all feel a fresh of breath air come flooding in during January 2008!

There is a new moon in Capricorn (the beginning of the lunar New Year for all moon in Capricorn natives) on Tuesday Jan 8 at 9.07pm. This is the time to embrace your inner compass to pull in and focus on the year ahead and the goals and plans you have made or are making for this new era on the planet.

Make note of what comes up for you on Jan 13. The events and feel of this day will be the theme of the next Mercury Retrograde beginning on Jan 29.

The sun enters the constellation of Aquarius on Jan 21 so we will feel a little wobble this day as we move from the somewhat restricted energy of Capricorn to the world humanitarian theme of Aquarius, which really suits the energy of this “one” year beautifully.

On Jan 22 at 11.04pm we have a big full moon in Leo. Expect personalities and outer selves to be on full display. This is a great time to move on anything that has been stuck since the beginning of the year as you will have extra oomph and that lion's roar behind you.

Mercury begins its first retrograde period for the year on Jan 29 at 7am. The next three weeks we will all be going over communication issues around the theme of Jan 13. This is an extremely powerful time to confront your fears head on and move up the ladder of personal evolution in leaps and bounds.

To close off an eventful start to the year Mars moves direct in Gemini on Jan 31. All of us will feel a little relief to be able to action our plans put on hold since late 2007. Cancerians especially will feel a little freer as Mars has been retrograde in this sign.

Q.   I've recently had a marital breakdown after 32 years and don't know who I am anymore. Where and how can I start to work this all out? Julie, QLD

A.   Firstly long term relationship breakdowns have been very common place throughout 2007 as the old way of relating to one another no longer works without great discomfort for both partners. If something was meant to last it would have strengthened throughout 2007 or if it was meant to fall way it would have done so. Know that there are thousands of people going through the same fears as you are right now and you all have an amazing opportunity to discover who you really are and start afresh on your path. You'll need time on your own to relax and create a new energy around you and your living space, so allow this to happen naturally. Try not to keep busy so you don't have to think about what comes next. Create space and trust through relaxing for new ideas to come to you. Visit your local bookshop or Internet Store and pick up some DVD's, CD's and books on self-help or spirituality. There are so many to choose from. You will be drawn to the ones perfect for you. Particularly good is “You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise.L.Hay and there has just been released an excellent video of the book too. Take some holidays ortime off if you are in the position to do so and look at attending a meditation group or something completely different to what the old you would have done. Go easy on yourself and look at the coming period for you to be one of enormous opportunity to get on with remembering who you are and living a life full of love, peace and joy.

The Secret Language Of Your Body by Inna Segal
I recently picked up this book and it is a MUST have for any holistic practitioner and anyone interested in the thoughts which create our physical illnesses. I found this book gives different angles and assistance with visualisations to move through thought patterns than Heal Your Body and The Body Is The Barometer Of The Soul do. So it is excellent reading and information to add to your healing tool belt.
